30 plants a week is the new flex

I listen to podcasts EVERY day without fail - it’s been a 2024 thang for me. Absolutely loved this one even though in my head I did think 30 plants a week - how?!

Here’s my 30 (ok, I like to show off so I’ve got 36…) for the week.

  2. Broccoli - in a quiche + stir-fry

  3. Pak Choy - in a stir-fry

  4. Carrots - raw, sliced

  5. Snow Peas - by themselves

  6. Capsicum - raw, sliced

  7. Fennel - in a salad for lunch at work

  8. Spinach (frozen) - in a quiche

  9. Rocket - in a salad for lunch at work

  10. Gem Lettuce - in a salad

  11. Cucumber - by themselves

  12. Buckwheat (flour) - in a cake

  13. Coconut (flour) - in a cake

  14. Almond - in a Bar + protein powder + milk

  15. Curry powder - with eggs

  16. Strawberries - by the bowlful

  17. Blueberries - by the bowlful

  18. Cherries (frozen) - by the bowlful

  19. Blackcurrants (frozen) - by the bowlful!

  20. Blackberries (frozen) - by the bowlful!

  21. Parsley - straight from my garden

  22. Mint - straight from my garden

  23. Oregano - straight from my garden

  24. Thyme - straight from my garden

  25. Chilli - straight from my garden

  26. Rosemary - straight from my garden

  27. Peanuts

  28. Lemongrass - in a curry paste

  29. Galangal - in a curry paste

  30. Coriander - fresh, with stir-fry + in a curry paste

  31. Garlic - in a curry paste

  32. Lime - frozen, in stir-fry & potentially in a few glasses of vodka over the weekend

  33. Lemon - fresh, with smoked salmon

  34. Sunflower seeds - in a Carman’s seed bar - sure, it’s processed but whole seeds still count! This one is currently my favourite
